It is always a pleasure to see an unusually creative film. Beasts of the Southern Wild falls in this category. The acting in the film is phenomenal - and yet almost all of the actors were in front of the camera for the first time. If you get a chance, give this film a shot. There is no overt science & religion connection, but it does raise questions about different ways of living and the intimate connection between animals and humans.
